The Story Behind Edmunds Opticians

Ed Hasenjager, Jr.

Born in 1947, Ed Jr. followed in his father’s footsteps, joining the family business in 1961. After graduating from nearby Technical High School in 1965, he furthered his education by attending HCC and Newbury College, where he completed his optical training. He worked alongside his father throughout this time, learning the trade and upholding the family legacy. With his entire working life dedicated to Edmunds Opticians, Ed Jr. looks forward to continuing to serve patients for many more years.

Continuing the family tradition, Edmund III began working at the shop while attending Central High School. He also enrolled in advanced optical training classes at HCC as a senior. After graduating in 1988, Ed III embraced the values instilled in him by his father and grandfather. He has since continued the tradition of outstanding quality, service, and value that defines Edmunds Opticians, ensuring every customer receives the best care possible.

Together, the Hasenjager family has created a legacy reflecting their commitment to quality eye care, ensuring every patient feels valued and well taken care of.
